Privacy Policy
This policy explains what OMG Switcharoo collects, why it is used, and the choices available to Discord server owners and users.
1. Data we collect
- Discord user, server, channel, message, and role identifiers needed to operate the bot.
- Discord display names and user-provided Activision IDs.
- Event registrations, duo pairings, team assignments, payment-status checkmarks, lock/respin/nuke requests, brackets, match scores, maps, and audit history.
- Ticket messages, participants, timestamps, and transcript content when the ticket system is used.
- Server setup, permission, channel, role, and premium-license records.
- Basic technical logs needed for reliability, security, and troubleshooting.
We do not collect payment card or bank credentials. Payment providers and event organizers handle financial transactions separately.
2. How we use data
We use data to provide requested bot functions, keep events consistent, enforce permissions, investigate problems, prevent abuse, support users, and manage premium access.
3. Where data is stored
Operational data is stored in the bot’s database and hosting environment. Some content is also stored by Discord when the bot posts messages, DMs, brackets, or ticket transcripts. Server administrators choose the transcript channel and control access within Discord.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the bot, when an authorized server workflow displays it, when you direct us to share it, or when required for security or law. Relevant providers may include Discord and the bot’s hosting provider.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep information while needed to provide the Service, maintain event history, resolve disputes, enforce licenses, or meet legal and security needs. Discord messages and ticket transcripts may remain until a server administrator deletes them. To request deletion of bot-held data, contact us with your Discord user ID and applicable server ID. We may retain limited records when legally required or necessary to prevent fraud.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards and permission controls, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. Server administrators should carefully limit bot and staff permissions.
7. Your choices
You may leave an event, leave a server, ask a server administrator to remove content, disable DMs, remove the bot, or contact us about access or deletion. Some requests must come from a server owner because server configuration and event data belong to that community.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone below the minimum age required by Discord in their country. We do not knowingly collect data from children in violation of applicable law.
9. International use
Data may be processed in countries different from your own, subject to the safeguards used by our hosting and platform providers.
10. Changes and contact
